Join the Android beta

The beta runs through Google Play's own testing program: you install Trovalo from Google Play and it updates like any other app. It's the same Trovalo as on iPhone, with the same accounts, so your trips work with friends on either.

What we ask

• An Android phone with Android 9 or later, and a Google account
• Stay in the test for at least 14 days. Google needs that before Trovalo can go public.
• Use it: make a trip, invite someone, add a plan or an expense
• Tell us what's broken, confusing or missing - a quick email is plenty

How to join

1. Join our Google Group, trovalo-beta, with the Google account you use on Google Play. That's what lets your account into the test.
2. On your phone, open the test page on Google Play and tap Become a tester.
3. Install Trovalo from Google Play - the test page links to it.

Join the group

The test opens once Google has reviewed the first beta build. If the test page says it isn't available yet, try again in a day or two. Questions? Write to trovalo@jerseycoder.com.

Good to know

• Your first two trips are free, which is plenty for testing.
• You can leave the test any time from Google Play.
• The group is only for the test: members can't see each other or post, and we use your email only for the beta and to reply to you.
